Frederick R. Singer is Director of the Endocrine/Bone Disease Program at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center, Santa Monica, California, and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Singer is past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Paget Foundation and Past President of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. He has served on many national public health committees, including as Chairman of the USPHS FDA Endocrinologic Metabolic Drug Advisory Committee. He completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine at the University of California Affiliated Hospitals, Los Angeles, followed by research fellowships in endocrinology at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London, and the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.
